POS Smart Reports Enhancement for our Vendor Partners

Good Afternoon,

I am happy to announce that Retail Insights and Cardinal Health have added a new feature to your POS Smart Reports data.

We have added data for a new field “Vendor Aggregated Account Class”, I have received many comments from the Vendors that the Cardinal designation is not always accurate and would like some of the stores assigned to a different accounting class. Cardinal would not allow the values to be changed as they are used in many areas/departments at Cardinal.  So now the Vendor group has their own field for Account Class.

How the data is populated,

• Each location is assigned the current Cardinal Value
• Then a value is changed for locations that have been requested by the Vendor group, for example some Kroger locations were assigned to the Independent Accounting , they have been changed to Chain
• The changes come from you, the Vendor group

 How to get a store assignment changed,

• Send me a list of any locations you believe need to be changed
• Include the following information
• RI-KEY
• Store Name
• Address
• City
• State
• Zip
• Current Aggregated Account Class
• The value you want the store assigned to in the “Vendor Aggregated Account Class”
• If it is an “obvious” change I will process it within a few days, an example of “obvious” is the above example concerning some Kroger stores
• If it is not “obvious” I will consult with a group of vendor advisors before making a change, I will contact the requestor with any questions

 How and where can you use this new data,

• Available in the Sales and Restricted Sales Universes
• Available in POS Smart Reports portal in these areas when you choose “Customer” under “Class” (see below)
• Report on Entities
• Filter By
• AND Filter
• Exclude
